Greetings! My name is Harley, and I’m the one behind the Green Garden blog, where I share the best of the DIY and design worlds with you, as well as some of my own projects.
Green Garden has been published for almost a year now. I used to be a freelance writer for a few large publications. However, as time went on, my websites became out of date, worn out, and even a bit depressed — and so did I!
Since I was a young child, I have always had a strong connection to the natural world. Some of my happiest childhood memories involve the time I spent in the backyard with my sister, our friends, and the tree house that my father constructed for us. We would play games, build camps, and hide out in there.
When I finally got my own garden 10 years ago, I was inspired to transform it from the “back yard” that it had been into a place where I could relax and lose myself. Since then, I’ve had an interest in creating gardens, but it wasn’t until I got my own garden that I became truly interested in the art of landscape design.
Green Garden is where I share things that inspire me, projects I’m working on, gardens I’ve visited, shows I’ve seen, and design advice in the hopes that it may inspire you to build your own beautiful garden.
